Our client has a great opportunity to join a growing international Marketing software organization with a platform that great brands use to manage digital assets, approve creative, manage marketing projects & report on content marketing.
The Position
The role of the Sr. Account Executive – Enterprise Sales will be required to achieve new business revenue objectives and engage with each industry in key verticals to promote and sell the companies Marketing Operations Platform. The successful candidate will have 10+ years’ experience in selling 6 and 7 figure software deals through building relationships and multi-level selling. This is the perfect role for a senior sales professional, who has a passion for revenue generation, the art of the sale, strategic selling and closing deals.
Responsibilities:
- Extensive networking amongst prospects in regulated industries such as Financial Services, Healthcare and Energy.
- Attend 8-10 New Business meetings per week, to establish opportunities via incoming leads, and outbound activities.
- Provide on-site and web based product demonstrations to existing and potential clients.
- Represent the company at events (including conferences, expos, trade-shows, forums and meetings) with a focus on building sales opportunities.
- Develop and implement an ongoing personal sales plan to ensure monthly targets and KPI’s are met through building sales revenue, new business and new clients.
- Support and implement marketing initiatives as required.
- Manage and report on sales activity on a weekly basis.
- Process orders, follow up and new customer handover with Customer Success Managers.
- Maintain CRM database of all leads, opportunities and activities undertaken and report in a timely manner. All pipeline details and forecast data to be accurate as of COB each Friday of every week.
- Participate in regular sales and product training.
- KPI’s
- Minimum target of $1M Direct New Business Revenue Per Annum, for deals and territories as allocated by your manager. New Business is defined as:
- New clients who have not done business with the company
- New divisions within existing clients; upsells or platform extensions from existing client base as allocated by your manager
- Our portion of a partner sale as deemed by your manager if you have involvement in closing the deal
